The 8th Beijing University Logistics Design Competition Was Successfully Held

To further foster innovation and research competence among university students, the 8th Beijing University Logistics Design Competition was successfully held on November 8, 2025, at Beijing Technology and Business University. Professor Yang Haoxiong, Competition Director, chaired the pre-final preparatory meeting. Ms. Ge Xiaqing, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office, and Mr. Fan Jiangtao, Party Secretary of the Business School, delivered opening remarks on behalf of the host institution. Professor Yang provided a comprehensive overview of the competition’s progress and outlined the final round evaluation criteria. Representatives from sponsoring organizations and the chair of the defense expert panel also delivered addresses. The judging panel comprised academic experts from leading institutions, including Central University of Finance and Economics, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and Beijing Wuzi University, as well as industry professionals from the China Warehousing and Distribution Association and Beijing Loxest Technology Development Co., Ltd.

The competition officially commenced at 8:30 a.m. It featured two tracks: one for graduate students and one for undergraduate students, with 10 graduate teams and 27 undergraduate teams advancing to the final round. Following rigorous evaluation, the graduate track awarded two First Prizes, four Second Prizes, and four Third Prizes, while the undergraduate track recognized four First Prizes, eight Second Prizes, and fifteen Third Prizes. A total of five teams from Beijing Technology and Business University participated in the final defense, among which Team Hairline Protection and Team Chain Chain Watch secured first-place honors in the graduate and undergraduate categories, respectively.

The competition serves as a valuable platform for university students to demonstrate and further develop their professional competencies. It also fosters academic exchange and collaboration both within and across institutions. By integrating theoretical knowledge of logistics and supply chain management with real-world applications, participants enhance their ability to address practical challenges, thereby establishing a solid foundation for future academic pursuits and career advancement.
