From October 30 to November 3, the final round of the 19th “Challenge Cup” National College Students' Extracurricular Academic and Technological Works Competition was successfully concluded. A joint team from the Business School and the School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence secured one national first prize in the “Name Your Project” (Jiebang Guashuai) Special Challenge and one national third prize in the main competition, marking a significant breakthrough and showcasing the substantial outcomes of the “Integration of Business and Engineering” educational model.
Hosted jointly by the Communist Youth League Central Committee, the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the All-China Students’ Federation, and the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, this year’s competition featured three tracks: the main contest, the “Challenge by Invitation” special category, and the “Artificial Intelligence+” special category. It attracted participation from over 2,000 higher education institutions nationwide, with more than 400,000 submitted projects and over 2.5 million student participants.


Since the launch of the competition last year, the college has placed significant emphasis on participation and excellence. A six-dimensional collaborative framework—encompassing guidance, training, development, integration, assessment, and exhibition—has been established, alongside a comprehensive full-cycle mentoring system. These initiatives have strengthened the alignment between project incubation and transformation, optimized resource allocation, and enabled the formation of a closed-loop cultivation model that spans pre-competition training, in-competition refinement, and post-competition commercialization or application.


The college meticulously organized the initiative. The New Business Innovation Center conducted comprehensive outreach to promote the competition through multiple channels, including its official WeChat account and coordination with academic advisors, effectively fostering a vibrant culture of competition. Director Wu Yue and counselor Li Jiaxin led a team of faculty members and student affairs staff in conducting field visits and practice-based engagements to support project development.


During the preparation phase, the New Business Innovation Center organized a series of specialized workshops to support students in high-quality competition readiness. The faculty team conducted “one-on-one” project consultations, delivering expert guidance and end-to-end support to fully realize project potential and empower teams to demonstrate outstanding capabilities in the “Challenge Cup” competition.

Project Overview: This project advances innovation in education through the design and development of an intelligent educational solution that integrates a “Multi-Intelligence Diagnostic System” with an “Adaptive Learning System.” By leveraging the capabilities of state-of-the-art deep-reasoning large models—including iFLYTEK’s X1, DeepSeek-R1, Qwen, and GPT—the system establishes a robust technical foundation. It enables precise diagnosis of learners’ cognitive states and real-time optimization of instructional strategies, delivering a highly personalized and data-driven learning experience.

Project Name: Does Live Streaming for Job Recruitment Truly Alleviate Employment Challenges? — A Study on Enabling Mechanisms, Current Bottlenecks, and Policy Recommendations Based on 3,367 Questionnaires from 8 Provinces

Project Overview: Amid escalating employment pressures and a growing number of job seekers, effective strategies to promote employment have become a pressing societal concern. Live streaming for job recruitment, as an innovative model in the new era, has emerged as a prominent trend due to its efficient information dissemination and real-time accessibility. However, to ensure its sustained impact on employment, this approach must move beyond short-term popularity and address existing structural challenges. From the perspective of job seekers, this study employs a mixed-methods approach, conducting field investigations across 8 provinces, organizing 35 offline live job fairs, and collecting 3,367 valid questionnaires. It systematically examines the enabling mechanisms, identifies key bottlenecks, and proposes actionable policy recommendations to optimize live job recruitment practices, thereby offering both theoretical insights and practical guidance for modern talent acquisition and career development.
Looking ahead, the Business School will continue to leverage high-level innovation and entrepreneurship competitions as a core platform for student development, guided by the principle of “Integration of Business and Management.” By enhancing competition-based pedagogy, the school aims to fully unlock students’ scientific and technological innovation potential, contributing meaningfully to the advancement of institutional integration and the national “Double First-Class” initiative.
