The Business School Organized the “Ai-Shang Future” Career and Academic Development Guidance Seminar

To effectively address the diverse needs of students in employment and further education, the Business School has strengthened its implementation of differentiated guidance through the organization of the Ai-Shang Future Employment and Academic Development Guidance Seminar. The Department of Intelligent Finance and Accounting, the Department of Organizational Management, and the Department of Digital Operations jointly delivered refined and personalized advisory services, offering tailored support to enhance students career readiness and academic advancement.

At the specialized session of the Intelligent Accounting Department, Associate Professor Li Huicong from the Department of Intelligent Finance and Accounting at the Business School, Professor Liu Ting, Director of the International Certification Center, and Ms. Li Zi, Deputy Director of the MPAcc Center, served as keynote speakers.

Associate Professor Li Huicong began with an overview of the Business School’s overall development, presenting the 2026 enrollment plans for the Master of Academic Degree programs in Accounting and Financial Management, as well as the Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc). She clearly outlined this year’s admission quotas and application procedures, emphasizing that the re-examination stage places significant weight on professional competence, urging students to proactively strengthen their disciplinary knowledge and comprehensive capabilities in preparation.

Professor Liu Ting delivered a comprehensive analysis of current research directions, graduate career destinations, and employment prospects, highlighting that all three programs—Academic Master’s in Accounting, Academic Master’s in Financial Management, and MPAcc—offer strong pathways for both further education and career advancement. She also addressed applicants’ inquiries with clarity and encouraged interested students to apply.

Ms. Li Zi focused on the evolution and achievements of the MPAcc program, providing detailed insights into both the full-time MPAcc and part-time Master of Auditing programs. Her presentation covered admissions criteria, program strengths, scholarship and financial aid policies, and post-graduation employment outcomes. She emphasized that the curriculum is closely aligned with industry demands, ensuring high-quality academic training and robust career readiness support.

Professor Cui Li, Chair of the Department of Digital Operations at the Business School, served as the keynote speaker at the Digital Operations Department’s session. Drawing on historical data regarding graduate further studies, employment, and overseas study trends, Professor Cui provided students with valuable and actionable guidance. She highlighted the discipline’s cutting-edge research areas and introduced the core features of the relevant programs in alignment with evolving industry dynamics, helping Class of 2026 students clarify their academic advancement pathways and facilitating a smooth transition into the professional world. In the Q&A segment, Professor Cui patiently addressed student inquiries on admissions and future career trajectories, and extended a warm welcome to those considering applications to the Master’s programs in Management Science and Engineering and Logistics.

Associate Professor Zhu Rong began by presenting the postgraduate admission policies and core research areas of the two programs. Drawing on employment outcomes from several recent graduates, she illustrated the strong career prospects and broad industry applicability associated with both disciplines. She highlighted the Business School’s robust academic faculty, emphasizing that students benefit from dedicated mentorship in both academic development and career planning, enabling them to define clear research interests and professional objectives.
