The National University Business Elite Challenge is a nationally recognized high-level academic competition dedicated to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among college students and advancing the deep integration of industry, academia, and research. The event draws elite student teams from universities across the country, providing a prestigious platform for interdisciplinary collaboration and competitive excellence. Our university’s participating team distinguished itself through robust project execution capabilities, sharp business acumen, and exceptional teamwork, emerging as a top performer among a highly competitive field. The team secured two national first prizes and one national second prize, marking a significant milestone and a new benchmark of achievement in the institution’s competition history.

Since the launch of the internal competition, the Business School has placed significant emphasis on the initiative and implemented comprehensive strategic planning. The school has established an integrated “guidance, training, cultivation, and exhibition” preparation framework, creating a closed-loop competition simulation model characterized by high-standard candidate selection, intensive project refinement, and high-level presentation delivery. On August 5, the college-level competition was successfully conducted online, adopting the format of “7-minute presentation + 3-minute Q&A session.” Faculty advisors Wang Changbin and Sun Xiaoran provided continuous review and mentorship throughout the process. The Digital Elite Society ensured seamless event coordination and operational support, contributing significantly to the team’s capability enhancement at the early stage of competition preparation.

At the conclusion of the college-level competition, Professor Wang Changbin emphasized that a business plan must prioritize the feasibility of its business model by clearly identifying target users, articulating core value propositions, and assessing customer willingness to pay, while ensuring technological solutions are aligned with market needs. He further advised participating teams to refine their project proposals in accordance with competition guidelines to enhance strategic alignment and contextual relevance. These insights provided a clear and actionable roadmap for teams to optimize their projects and strengthen their preparation, enabling more effective demonstration of their project strengths in subsequent stages of the competition.
